Emission Verification Services

Emissions of greenhouse gases (GHGs), particularly CO2 are contributing to unprecedented climate change. As the Kyoto Protocol gains greater global acceptance, and with discussions on its successor underway, more countries and regional blocs are legislating to curb and reduce emissions.

Hundreds of organizations across the world have voluntarily implemented procedures for measuring, calculating and declaring direct and indirect emissions.  Effective GHG management, commonly referred to as carbon management, is helping them reduce energy consumption, and therefore costs, as well as reducing their carbon emissions.

Our Services

Our Greenhouse Gas (GHG) services include the verification and validation of baseline emissions, annual emissions and project-based emissions reductions in any country globally. We are an accredited verifier under the EU and UK Emissions Trading Schemes, an operator in the Japanese Ministry of the Environment voluntary scheme and a Designated Operational Entity under the UN’s Clean Development Mechanism.

We have also been involved in the development of a number of international standards and initiatives for GHG monitoring, reporting and verification. This means we are perfectly placed to help you understand and implement a management system for the reduction of your emissions.
